Deloitte Ride Across Britain (7th-15th September) takes cyclists on a 980-mile route from Land’s End to John O’Groats or, ‘End to End’. This iconic cycling challenge is a true test of stamina and boasts breath-taking scenery from start to finish.
The route is made up of nine stages over nine days and will see cyclists ride over 100 miles each day. From the rugged coastline of Cornwall to the rolling hills and valleys of the North of England, right up the barren majesty of the Scottish Highlands, cyclists will gain a unique perspective of the land as they ride through moorlands, hidden green valleys, winding back lanes, stunning coastal roads and historic sites.
Deloitte Ride Across Britain is an event for everyone. From the novice to the elite rider, from young to old, male or female, participants can expect to receive unrivalled support from start to finish.
At the end of each stage cyclists will arrive at a Deloitte Ride Across Britain legendary basecamp. Every rider’s baggage will be transported from basecamp to basecamp so there is no need to worry about carrying unnecessary weight along the route.
Cyclists on the classic nine-day package will have their own private two-man tent in a basecamp fully stocked with delicious hearty food, with breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea all taken care of and catered to a variety of dietary requirements.
Following food and a few drinks at the bar, riders can take advantage of the showers, laundry service, chill out areas and charging points before heading to bed, rested and ready for another day and another adventure on their bike.
During each stage there will be multiple pitstops for cyclists to refuel. The route is fully signposted, supported by medics, mechanics, support vehicles and marshals. Enteries now open:
