Virtuo, the 100% mobile car rental service, has announced that it is continuing its rapid expansion in London with the introduction of the brand new 2019 Mercedes A-class meaning the company now has over 100 cars available to rent. The new Mercedes promises to offer an unparalleled experience of seamlessness and functionality. The cars have been kitted out with the top specifications, including premium interiors and the latest technology including a wide touch screen dashboard, wireless charging, GPS, CarPlay, reverse cameras, and much more.
One of the most unique features of the new A-class is the MBUX, a state-of-the-art infotainment system that is built around a comprehensive touch operation concept. The combination of voice control, a touchscreen, touchpad on the centre console and Touch-Control buttons in the steering wheel means you are in complete control.
As with all the current fleet, the new A-class will be fitted with Virtuo’s unique technology, allowing customers to book, locate and unlock a Mercedes, all through the Virtuo app on their smartphone. Two new locations
Virtuo initially launched in July with five central London locations (London Victoria, London Waterloo, King’s Cross St Pancras, Marble Arch and Kensington). However, with 35,000 users registered already, the company has now announced plans to spread its wings both East and West.
To meet the huge volumes of demand for the service and its growing fleet, Virtuo is continuing their momentum by expanding with new sites in Stratford International and Shepherd’s Bush/Hammersmith. In the ultimate synergy, East meets West providing hassle free locations to rent cars throughout London and providing perfect hubs for escaping the city.
The early UK success of Virtuo has been facilitated by investment from one of Europe’s leading early stage investors in the future of mobility Balderton Capital, who are also behind the likes of Citymapper and Carwow.
