Enter our competition to win a two night luxury Cotswolds break, staying at Ellenborough Park and Barnsley House, in celebration of the launch of PoB Breaks; a series of immersive journeys
The Cotswolds is an impossibly picturesque location with picture-postcard towns and villages at every turn, impressive country estates, beautiful countryside, and quaint honey-coloured stone cottages.
Cotswolds Allure is a six-night immersive journey launched by PoB Hotels (a collection of the finest places to eat, stay and unwind within the British Isles) as part of their new series of curated holidays.
From Northbound Wellness and Highlands and Islands to Back to Nature in Wales and Romance & Restoration in the South East, with stays at PoB Hotels, there is a tailored break for every occasion.

To celebrate the launch of PoB Breaks and Cotswolds Allure, British Travel Journal has teamed up with PoB Hotels to offer you the opportunity to win a Cotswolds Mini-Break – to include a luxury overnight night stay and breakfast in two beautiful hotels in PoB’s Cotswolds collection, Ellenborough Park and Barnsley House.
Ellenborough Park is a British manor house with 90 acres of glorious grounds next to the famous Cheltenham Racecourse. Barnsley House is nestled in gardens created by renowned garden designer, Rosemary Verey and has its very own cinema.

The prize includes dinner at The Boot, Barnsley House’s pub just a short walk through the beautiful village of Barnsley, plus dinner in The Restaurant at Ellenborough Park.
As part of your Cotswolds Allure journey, PoB recommends visiting the capital of the Cotswolds – Cirencester, especially for farmers’ market day to see the town at its best and to learn about the Roman roots of the Cotswolds in the Corinium Museum – the prize includes two tickets. And just outside the town, the serene Coln Valley, with the much-loved Bibury village makes for picture-perfect memories. You might wish to head west to the town of Cheltenham; a place known for its lively festivals of jazz, literature, and horse racing, packed with independent bars, restaurants, and boutiques.
From here, the Cotswold Way rises to both the north and south – it’s 102 miles long but walking just a small section of it brings you to the essence of the local countryside.
This is an invitation to discover the British Isles like never before; to connect with local people, and enjoy the food and culture at your own pace.
